Okay, I've been tagged. Not only that, I've been repromended for not posting often enough. Sorry, I really want to do better...I'll try, how about that? Maybe more than once a month?

Where was I 10 years ago?
1998, I was in Provo, Utah, working for NuSkin....Yeah, um....life was a bit different then.

Where was I 5 years ago?
2003, Also in Provo, or the general area, also working for NuSkin...It was another year before I met my hubby.

Where was I 1 year ago?
Pullman, WA. Okay, I NEVER thought I would end up back in Eastern Washington. I grew up in Moses Lake, and when I moved to the "West Side", in 1989, I was D-O-N-E with Eastern WA...I love being here now....We did our stint in Pullman for hubby to finish some prereq's for nursing school. I think it could be one of the happiest places I've ever lived. I will always treasure my days in Pullman.

I enjoy...
Taking pictures, making jewelry, walking, organizing (it's easier when not holding an 18 lb-er and having a 2 yr old tugging at your knees, or trying to tackle you), trying new recipes, meeting new people (becoming a pro at that), hearing from friends (hint!)

My favorite shows are...
Lost, Ellen (yes really, i like her light-hearted-ness...it helps with my crazyness sometimes), Oprah (depending on the topic), Trading Spaces, Smallville, and my guilty pleasure of late...American Idol! I can't get enough of this kid from Murray, Uah! He's way too cute and sweet and has this voice to die for!

I hate...
Lies, cleaning toilets (I'm the only female in my house!), mushrooms (there's a reason it's called fungus!), being cold.

My Biggest joys are...
Really? Do you have to ask? Well it's long baths, of course. Kidding, I do love those, but I have 4 boys in my life that I thank my Heavenly Father every day for. OH, other than them? I love sunny days, singing birds, and happy kids. Knowing that there is a plan for me and my family brings me joy. I cling to that when I'm having a tough day. The Gospel plan and the gifts of life and the Atonement are the greatest things anyone could ask for.

What are 5 things I have to do today?
-go walking
-make phone calls and do paper work for lovely govt. programs that help us survive while hubby is in school
-return library books, get some new ones
-play with my kids
-adore my hubby

5 snacks I like...
-Sweedish Fish
-anything with cherry flavor lately, Cherry Garcia Ben & Jerry's is calling mly name!
-chocolate
-nachos
-root beer floats

What would I do if I was suddenly a billionaire?
Pay off the debts of everyone in mine and my hubbys' families.
Invest
Buy a nice house (for family members too, if they want)
Travel

4 bad habits that I have...
Do I have to ?
-procrastinating
-losing patience (bad spelling, i know) with my kids
-staying awake too late!
-i have a lot more....

-receptionist

-picking spinich (yes, really...I was 13)
-Arby's (worst job ever, even worse than the spinich one)

It has been about 8 years. Crazy. I'm glad that you and Kristine hooked up. Enjoy Spokane. Hopefully we can see you when we get up there sometime this summer.

Who's saying what?

Oh to be in so much wonder of the world as a two year old! Noah looks at new things every day and loves to say, "Wow! Amazing!" Oh yeah and he calls everything wonderful too!

Since about May or so Eli has been very interested in how old he is. When we ask him, he says, "I freezer old!"
I made the mistake once of giving him 3 of some sort of treat, saying that he got 3 because he's 3 years old. Now, anytime I give him anything he says, "But I freezer old!" Meaning, I MUST give him 3!

A couple of weeks ago we were going to play with the Huismans. Eli knew he would see Greg and he started asking, "Mommy Greggars freezer old too?" "Yes, Eli, Greggars is 3 years old just like you." He thought for a moment and then figured out, "Oh! He same big are me!" I love 3 year old grammer.

Eli has also memorized when his birthday is. When we ask him he says, "My burfday is Febrary!" Since his birthday is on the 5th, I showed him that he could hold up all 5 fingers. Now when we ask him he says, really loudly, "My burfday Febrary fift!" with whole lot of spit and a very proud extended high five-style hand.

Today at the park Noah was having a blast climbing UP the slide. IT was a fairly tall slide and he felt very accomplished. When he would get to the top, he'd hang his head over and look for either me or Eli then say, "What doing?" Then he'd laugh and slide on down. This was repeated a bunch of times.

Some of Noah's phrases lately, "Where are you?" "Oh, there I are!" "I wanna hide" (usually under a blanket or a table, etc.) He'll tell us a whole lot of gibberish that we don't understand, while holding his hands out, palms up, like he's explaining something. Then he says, "K?", very know-it-all like we should know exactly what he's talking about.

This is said as he waves his finger at me and gives me a squinted-eye look.

September 2008
"I wanna like pirate!" As he climbs up and sits on top of the toilet tank. Anyone seen that commercial?

"I wanna like friends!" This means that he wants to hold hands and walk toward whereever it is HE wants to go.

"I wanna sleep mommy." This means that I have to lay down and fall asleep with him.

"I wanna need it." He wants to need just about anything that anyone else has.

July 2008
This is what I heard from the back of the van tonight. "bacons? (translation: spankins? as in do you need spankins?). Time out! bacons! time out!" Wow, is this how I sound to him?

"Later! Catch the bus!" As he puts on his really cool free IKEA backpack (upside down, mind you) and is heading toward the door. But before getting to the door he had to come back and get his good bye kiss. He just wants to be like daddy and big brother!

"Out!", he screams to me, pointing his finger to get me out of HIS kitchen (which, by the way, he pronounces chichen). Hmmm...where would he get this kind of bossiness?
